Saudi FM Summit with US will open a new page with Washington

During a press conference, the Foreign Minister of Saudi Kingdom, Adel Jubeir, has said he deeply trusts in this imminent visit to Saudi Arabia by Trump, in order to reinforce and to ensure the historic ties between USA and Saudi Arabia. He has also confessed he hopes it will be possible signing several deals, both of political and economic sides. This future Summit will be attended by 37 representatives of several states from muslim, arab countries and they are going to discuss themes like fight against terrorism, youth employment and involvement, bolstering trade and finally technology. Adel Juber has also mentioned and pointed out Muslim and Arab World are not enemy to West and they come after US in fighting against ISIS. The foreign minister is really confident this Summit will pave the way to create a new page with arab reality. He has also declared, at the end of meeting, the represents of Member States will launch a global counter-terrorism center in Riyadh, which will be able to conduct ideological battles.

Houthi militia leader killed in the battles with the resistance in Shabwa

A Houthi militia leader and two of his companions got killed during the battle in the province of Shabwa. They are killed during an attack and battle against Popular Forces and it was another episode of this cruel and intestine war. Actually ex-Yemeni President would have said, he is open to negotiations with Saudi Arabia and Arab Coalition from this time. Actually Prince Faisal is appointed as high-ranking adviser to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and he has openly said the future goals of Arabian political programs. For example he has talked about the economic diversification, in compliance with objectives of Vision 2030. In addition to this, he has talked about the empowerment of women from 22 to 33% in workplaces. Also, he has also illustrated the relevance of boosting tourism field, opening new paths to Saudi Arabia and enforcing relations with China, Japan and Asia. He has not called Vision 2030 “a program for economic reform”, framing it instead as “a true effort at national transformation to create a more vibrant society, thriving economy and an ambitious nation”.

Consular Office for Yemen affairs opens in Jeddah

Saudi Ambassador to Yemen al-Jaber announced it will open in Jeddah a new office for Yemen affairs, which helps at issuing visas for Yemenis. These processes will be facilitated for the ones, who are going to seek for employment or visit in Kingdom. The operative embassies in Aden and Sanaa will cooperate in sending to the office in Jeddah all required documents to be issued the visas. As al-Jaber reported, the office in Jeddah doesn’t receive applicants, but it work remotely and via Website. This new activity, promoted by King Salman, is another representation of volunteer in cooperating and collaborating with Yemeni people and help them at finalizing their requests to leave the country and find stability in Kingdom, giving them all facilities and services without any exceptions.

According to US Homeland Security Secretary, John Kelly, Trump has accepted invitation by King Salman of visiting Saudi Arabia later this month. He has also affirmed, Trump considers Saudi Arabia as critical ally in the region. Of course, it is stressed out the importance of the partnership between these two States in order to achieve several goals, regarding fields such as terrorism, stability and security.The aim of Trump, as Kelly reported, is cooperating and associating in order to help to fight extremism and violence and to help young muslims to embrace a better and more hopeful future. Kelly went to visit some historical and important places such gateway to Makkah and Madinah and Bayt Nasseef Heritage House in Jeddah’s historic district.

Saudi Arabia vows to 'do whatever it takes' to balance oil market

Saudi Energy Minister, Khalid Al-Falih, has declared to do whatever it is necessary to cut crude output to be extended through all 2017. The organization of petroleum exporting countries (OPEC), whose Saudi Arabia is the leader member, has declared on the first half of this year to cut crude output by 1.8 million barrel per day, but foreign investitures do not agree. Anyway OPEC is confident it will be possible achieving an agreement by the second half of this year. It is expected it will grow the request of oil in the next 25 years, specially from countries such as Vietnam and Philippines, which are considered in the future in the top 20 global economies. The Energy Minister has also declared he trusts in the future oil project, it will see the involvement of ARMCO Industries and the Malaysia ones, which are going to realize a new project. This will meet the increasing demand of oil in the market.

 

Iran calls Saudi prince’s comments ‘unveiled threat’.

Iran’s Ambassador to the UN Gholamali Khoshroo said  that comments made by Saudi Arabian Defense Minister Mohammed bin Salman are “unveiled threat” against Iran and violation of the UN Charter. Khoshroo’s remarks came in a protest letter to the UN Security Council and to Secretary General António Guterres. Mohammed bin Salman, who is also the deputy crown prince, said in a televised interview aired on Tuesday that “we won’t wait for the battle to be in Saudi Arabia. Instead, we’ll work so that the battle is for them in Iran”.  Following is full text of Khoshroo’s letter published by IRNA: Upon instructions from my Government, I wish to bring to your attention the recent unlawful and inflammatory statement made by Saudi Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman — who is also the Defense Minister of Saudi Arabia. On 2 May 2017, Prince Mohammed bin Salman stated, ‘We will work so that the battle is on their side, inside Iran, not in Saudi Arabia.’ While categorically rejecting the baseless allegations against my country, I wish to underline that his statement reflects an unveiled threat against the Islamic Republic of Iran, in violation of Article 2(4) of the UN Charter, as well as a clear admission of the long-known complicity of the Saudi regime in acts of terror and violence inside Iran, the latest of which resulted in the murder of 9 Iranian border guards, by the Saudi-financed armed bands. This blatant threat and admission is being made by a regime with a long record of supporting aggression and using terrorist and extremist groups for its short-sighted and dangerous ambitions in the region and beyond.

Trump to visit the Vatican, Israel and Saudi Arabia on first foreign trip.

President Donald Trump said Thursday his first foreign trip later this month will include visits to the Vatican, Israel, and Saudi Arabia, stops that his top aides hope will both combat views of the President abroad and build toward Middle East peace. The stops will come before Trump attends a NATO meeting in Brussels on May 25 and a G7 meeting in Italy on May 26.  “Saudi Arabia is the custodian of the two holiest sites in Islam, and it is there that we will begin to construct a new foundation of cooperation and support with our Muslim allies to combat extremism, terrorism and violence, and to embrace a more just and hopeful future for young Muslims in their countries”, Trump said Thursday in announcing his trip.

Middle East railways vision plan drawn up at RAME summit.

A vision plan for the current and future perspective of Middle East railways has been drawn up based on the activities of the Regional Assembly Middle East (RAME), CEO of the Railways of the Islamic Republic of Iran said Tuesday. “Vision plan for the ‘current status of Middle East railways, moving in the right direction’ has been drawn up with collective efforts from the RAME member states which introduces the current status of railways in RAME states as well as various railway projects currently under construction”, Abbas Nazari, CEO of the Railways of the Islamic Republic of Iran, said at the 19th RAME summit held in Tehran. Iranian as well as foreign companies from Russia, Germany, China, Italy, Sweden, Turkey, the Czech Republic, India and Slovenia are expected to participate in the exhibition that will put on display the latest technological achievements in rail and transportation industries, wagon construction and transportation services. RAME members are the railway administrations of Turkey (TCDD), Islamic Republic of Iran (RAI), Syria (CFS), Saudi Arabia (SRO), Jordan Aqaba Railways (ARQ), Iraq (IRR), Hejaz in Syria (CFH), NIROO RAIL Transport Co. and METRA Consulting Engineers Co. from Iran, and HIZTAZ Co. from Turkey. The RAME Chairmanship is performed by Turkey Railway (TCDD) and its vice-chairmanship is carried out by the railways of I.R. Iran (RAI) and Syria (CFS).

 

60 million cyber attacks targeted Saudi Arabia in one year.

The director of National Center for Cyber Security in King Abdulaziz City, Dr. Alomair, has declared Saudi Arabia had had 60 million cyber attacks in 2015, and so that means the Kingdom has witnessed about 164,000 attacks a day. During Cyber Security Conference, Dr. Alomair has said about 120 countries have planned to use internet to launch cyber attacks, adding hacker attacking system is getting day after day more complicated.  Also an IT engineer has declared several important industries are helping at developing technology, but the same one neglecting system to protect users.
