U.S. might ban laptops on all flights into and out of the country

The United States might ban laptops from aircraft cabins on all flights into and out of the country as part of a ramped-up effort to protect against potential security threats, U.S. Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly said on Sunday. In March, the government imposed restrictions on large electronic devices in aircraft cabins on flights from 10 airports, including the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Turkey. Kelly said the move would be part of a broader airline security effort to combat what he called “a real sophisticated threat”. He said no decision had been made as to the timing of any ban.

Egypt continues to install its diplomacy at regional level. President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi will head to the United Arab Emirates on a two-day visit to hold talks with UAE leaders to discuss how best to enhance bilateral relations as well as continuing consultations and coordination on various issues of common concern. This meeting adress a message of cooperation facing the Arab Nations challenges, according to Egyptian President. Both countries mentioned their bilateral relations to enforce living standards in both countries, especially in the current crisis of the region. Egypt will continue its talks with other regional States during next days, Sisi will visit Kuwait and Bahrain next Sunday in the framework of enhancing joint cooperation. He will discuss several issues -combating terrorism in particular- as well as joint cooperation on issues of common interest including the Palestinian conflict and the situations in Libya, Syria, Iraq and Yemen.

USA sees in the Libyan instability a possibility to drive the leading forces

A report, published on US Foreign Affairs Website, analyses the crisis in Libya after the threat of Daesh. Indeed, Libya remains divided between the Government of National Accord (GNA) and the opposition costituted around General Jhalifa Haftar, Head of the army of the House of Representative. USA sees in this instability a possibility to drive the leading forces, and keep the leadership in Libya (in concurrence with Russia, and United Arab Emirates (UAE)).One of the most important risk of instability comes from the national concurrence. Haftar told that he will control Tripoli soon. Finally the rapport conclude that, it looks impossible to reach Libyan’s unity by force, only a political solution could. Trump administration need to push in this way, if it wants reach Lybian’s unity.
