The independent permanent Human Rights Commission (IPHRC), which is part of Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), has a new headquarter, whose inauguration was promoted by the head executive director of IPHRC on Tuesday. The Minister of Foreign Affairs, al-Jaber, and the al-Othaimeen, general secretary of Jeddah-based OIC, have taken part to the inauguration. The IPHRC was established by OIC in 2011 and it is considered as an expert and independent body, whose its duties concern guaranteeing and monitoring Human Rights. The Commission is composed by 18 experts, coming from all OIC member States. Reports are reviewed to council as recommendations, after analyzing them, the Council can take needed actions. Actually the priorities of Commission are monitoring Human rights in Palestine, in addition to guaranteeing children and women human rights.
