Houthis "forbid" UN envoy's return to Sanaa

Al-Samad, head of houthis leader, has affirmed it is forbidden to UN envoy Ahmed to come back to Sanaa, indeed UN must choose another envoy, who is respectful of Yemeni people. This statement has been followed after the important and relevant incident, which involved Ahmed during the trip to Sanaa. This declaration was considered as a principle of tensions between warring parties and it was considered as a damage to his efforts to peace. UN Envoy, Ahmed, was condemned of not being neutral as he is supposed to be and also not being respectful of UN resolutions. This is not the first attack personally direct to UN envoy. In fact, it is important observing there was a huge manifestation after shooting to UN envoy convoy. His operation to guarantee a discussion table between warring parties failed.

Saudi Deputy Crown Prince said Yemen represents "the strategic depht of the Arab nation"

During his reception of Senior Yemeni tribal sheikhs on Wednesday, Saudi Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman said Yemen represents “the strategic depht of the Arab nation” and that the biggest mistake of the enemy was to target Yemen, which made all the Arab world alert to what is happening there. The Deputy Crwon Prince also expressed Saudi support to Yemen and also the mobilization of Arabian Gulf states, Egypt, Sudan, Jordan, Morocco and all the arab and Islamic world. On the other side the Yemeni tribal sheikhs thanked the Saudi government for the meeting, for supporting Yemeni legitimacy and for the efforts of the Arab coalition to restore security and stability.

Following the statement issued by the US ambassador to Yemen Tueller on Monday, which exposed Washington’s support to peace under the auspices of the United Nations and to the only solution which is through comprehensive peace negotiations in accordance with parallel political and security procedures, the Foreign Minister HishamSharaf said that this confirms what was before announced by the previous US administration. He also added that the use of peace to reach a political solution both on a Yemeni-Yemeni and a Yemeni-Saudi front, is what the Supreme Political Council and the Government of National Salvation are trying to do. Moreover the Minister called on US President Trump to prove the credibility and to stop arms deals exported to Saudi Arabia and he also called for ending logistical and intelligence support to aggression’s countries against Yemen to create a stable situation for any future peace negotiations.

FM calls on friendly countries to help establish peace in Yemen

Concerning the remarks made by the ambassadors of some friendly countries, the Minister of Foreign Affairs said that some of these countries are concerned only of their own intersests but they are not interested in the people of Yemen. The Quarter Countries, as these are called, are not seeking to resore security, peace and stability in Yemen or to solve the problem of millions of homeless and rebuild what was destroyed by the saudi aggression warplanes. Also due to these reasons Yemen asked the United Nations to add Russia to the group of the Quarter countries as a neutral party.

KSA: World Bank cooperates in Yemen's reconstruction

King Salman and President of the World Bank Jim Yong Kim met in Riyadh and dicussed aspects of cooperation between the Kingdom and the World Bank Group. Kim expressed the Bank’s desire to partecipate in the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. The President of the World Bank also met with Deputy Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman and the two talked about cooperation on reconstruction of Yemen to overcome the current crisis and make available of the basic needs for Yemeni people.

Gatilov: there isn't only the fight against terrorism in Yemen, but also the intra-Yemeni conflict

At the opening of an annual student conference in Moscow, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Gatilov said the humanitarian disaster in Yemen is a tragic catastrophe. In Yemen there is not only the fight against terrorism, but also the intra-Yemeni conflict, which is a serious humanitarian disaster. As Gatilov said about 80 percent of the population in Yemen is affected by humanitarian crisis, but western countries are more focused on what is happening in Syria. Finally he said that a solution should be found.
