Haftar to run for president of Libya in March 2018

The recent meeting between Haftar and Al-Serraij, in UAE (United Arab Emirates) had been successful according to first informations resulting from it. Indeed, the meeting has created a tie between East and West Libya, divided since the LPA (Libyan Political Accord) of December 2015, both leader decided to built a communication channel between PC (Presidency Council- West) and Dignity Operation (East) to allow information transmission between both Libyan parts. Haftar will be nominated as Libyan President in March 2018, Al-Serraij declared his satisfaction with this point. On Wednesday, Egypt president, El-Sissi, would be in UAE to confirm the agreement.

The Afghan President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani has met the UAE officials to talk about security and cooperation between the two countries. It is been confirmed by the spokesman Shah Hussein Murtazawi. Earlier the commission delegation of Kandahar had told to Ariana News two neighboring countiries were involved in the terrorist attack in Kandahar, where 5 UAE officials had lost their lives. The President Ghani in this meeting has presented a reliable report on this attack to UAE officials, that point out innonce of Afghanistan. In the same time, Ghani, have to convince United Emirates Arab to give the necessary financial support to Afghanistan.

UAE and KSA have been thanked by Yemeni Vice President for helping lift Taiz siege

Yemeni Vice President Lt. Gen. Ali Mohsen Saleh Al-Ahmar has expressed appreciation to the Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates for helping lift the siege of Taiz. The King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid (KSRelief), under General Supervisor Abdullah Al-Rabeeah, played an important role in the efforts to help the inhabitants as it distributed food baskets through the humanitarian relief coalition in Taiz. Yemeni Vice President stressed the need to continue determined efforts for unity and working to rid the province of rebels and subject them to state authorities and legitimacy and said that the achievement of the national army and the popular resistance is a big victory against the Houthis and their cohorts.
