RAWALPINDI – Rangers arrested 600 suspects including two Afghan nationals during a search operation in Punjab as the Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad is in full swing. Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of Pakistan Army, said that Rangers conducted search operations in different parts of the province, including Layyah, Rawalpindi and others. The officials checked suspected houses, madrsas and shops. Four militants were killed in an exchange of fire during the search operation, while facilitators of Jamaat-ul-Ahrar have also been apprehended. After a fresh wave of terrorism, Pakistan Army launched ‘Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad’ across the country to root out terrorism without any discrimination on February 22.
