Jesús Faría, Minister for Investment and International Commerce of Venezuela, assured that thanks to the efforts of President Maduro’s economy in the country this year will start growing again. Iñigo Méndez de Vigo, Spokesman of the Venezuelan government, reported that the Spanish Foreign Minister has summoned the Venezuelan ambassador for clarification regarding the statements made Thursday by President Maduro against the Spanish Prime Minister Rajoy, Maduro accused Rajoy of being a “murderer” “protector of criminals” and “delinquent”. The Madrid government has invited Maduro to tone it down and attend to dialogue with the opposition without losing time to offend foreign leaders. It is not the first time that Maduro blames Rajoy that he thought would be guilty of interference in the internal politics of Venezuela.

National Assembly and Venezueal Parliament will resume the judgement against President Maduro

On Tuesday the National Assembly and the Venezuelan Parliament will resume the judgment against President Maduro. The opposition parties have a majority of seats in the National Assembly and wish to continue the “process” against the President, suspended in October for his willingness to negotiate. The changes promised by Maduro’s government have not occurred and for this the opposition has decided to restart the parliamentary process that could lead or to early elections or to the impeachment of Maduro.
