Nineveh Operations Command announced on Wednesday “ we are coming”, the Anti-Terrorism Directorate completely liberated Hayy al-A’lam in the city of Mosul. Lieutenant General Abdel Amir Yarallah, commander of the operation, has said in a press statement, “Anti-Terrorism forces fully liberated Hayy al-A’lam, as well as raising Iraqi flag over its buildings.” and “The [Anti-Terrorism] forces liberated the area after inflicting heavy human and material losses on the enemy,” Yarallah added. International coalition and Iraqi Aviation continue their military operations to retake Nineveh from the ISIS control.
