Creation of brigade of investigation and fight against tax evasion approved by House of People's Representatives
The House of People’s Representatives (HPR) passed during a plenary session Friday article 31 of the 2017 draft finance law in its modified version. The latter stipulates the creation of a brigade of investigation and fight against tax evasion who shall perform under the direction of general prosecutors to the courts of appeal and allowing the brigade officers to automatically take on investigations on tax crimes. The article was amended by the government so as the tax payer could get all the minutes drawn up by the brigade officers.
