Marine le Pen, the Front National Candidate for the next presidential election, has been to Ciad for a state visit. A very important issue has been discussed on her tour in Ciad: the immigration. Le Pen had always made clear, in her political programme and durigntvdebats, that the immigration it is a problem which need to be stopped. In a statement she declared that she wants to create a new relationship based on respect, sincerity and reciprocal cooperation, it means that France is going to help Cameroun and Ciad trough the development and that It will continue to have a massive military presence in African territory. Another reason why Le pen has been in Ciad is her will to continue the fight against Boko Haram, the terrorist group is particulary active in the lake Ciad zone because of the water source, which is fundamental to control. Mali and Niger governments are asking for more military support from France to face the jihadist group, especially for the Sahel zone (northern Mali).
