Both presidents called on the activation of UN Security Council’s decision no. 2334, which deemed Israeli settlements illegal, says Palestinian state-run news agency. The main discussions turned around generals development in Palestinian territories, the expansion of Israeli settlements, and the failure of the peace process. Both countries have recalled the necessity of the cooperation of Arab League on the topic, to apply the UN Security Council’s decision. Abbas has recognized and congratulated Egypt for its support.
