During a conference in Tehran on Tuesday, the Iranian defense minister, Brigadier General Hossein Dehqan, urged the US administration to address the chaotic situation in its own society instead of criticizing and shifting the blame onto the other nations. Washington had better put a halt to the policies that led to creation of Daesh and resulted in insecurity and conflicts in the Middle East and other parts of the world, the general added. Making a reference to US President Donald Trump’s assertion in his election campaign that Barack Obama was the founder of Daesh and Hillary Clinton was its co-founder, the Iranian minister said the world should now judge whether Iran is a threat or the US.His comments coincided with an international conference in support of Palestine.
