During a press conference in Sana’a on Monday, the Foreign Minister Hisham Sharaf expressed the imaptience of the Yemeni people to a Saudi regime and its mercenaries, because of their negative impact on Yemen’s economy. Concerning the United Nations resolution, which approved sanctions against Yemen’s national figures, the Minister explained the circumstances and that the national salvation government aims to end the aggression and to start Yemen-Saudi direct negotiations. The negotiations will include stopping raids and withdraw occupying forces, mercenaries and terrorists out of Yemen’s territory, besides cancelling the sanctions resolution and opening Sana’a airport. He also talked about the right of self-defense of Yemeni people in particular in the Red Sea and in Bab al-Mandab strait, denying that Yemeni people had formed threats to international navigation in this area.

Main opposition Republican People’s Party (CHP) Chair Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu has said the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) could launch new operations in the Kandil Mountains of northern Iraq, where the outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) is based, in a bid to attract nationalist votes ahead of the April 16 referendum. Speaking at a meeting in Ankara, Kılıçdaroğlu said the AKP could devise such a plan by the end of March to boost support from Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) voters on proposed amendments shifting Turkey to a presidential system of government. Such a move would signal that if the constitutional changes pass, military measures in the fight against terrorism will escalate, he added. Such a plan was faulty; however, as the PKK has already relocated itself to the other parts of the area, meaning that a potential operation against its base would be essentially pointless. In his speech, Kılıçdaroğlu also touched on his party’s referendum campaign promoting a “No” vote against the amendments. Campaign rallies will be kicked off from the Black Sea province of Amasya, a town where the initial steps of Turkish Independence War were taken by the founding father of the modern Republic of Turkey, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, he said.

It is in Kuala Lumpur’s “Little India” neighborhood, behind an unmarked door on the second floor of a rundown building, where a military equipment company called Glocom says it has its office. Glocom is a front company run by North Korean intelligence agents that sells battlefield radio equipment in violation of United Nations sanctions, according to a United Nations report submitted to the Security Council seen by Reuters. Reuters found that Glocom advertises over 30 radio systems for “military and paramilitary” organizations on its Malaysian website, glocom.com.my.
