The Media aljazeera has published an article to complain against Egypt after the hundredth detention day of their journalist, Mahamoud Hussein in Egyptian prisons. Aljazeera recalled that on december 27, Al-Sisi has signed a new media law in which included the creation of Supreme Council for the Administration of the Media. A council with the authority to revoke press licences from foreign media and fine or suspend media organisations. That measure had been considered as a restriction to press freedom. 25 others journalists are still imprisoned for their act of journalism in Egypt. Egypt rank on the Reporters without Borders’ World Press Freedom index is passed at 159 on 180.
