USA: each day, 120 ‘dreamers’ lose protection from deportation

PHOENIX — Each day, about 120 of the young undocumented immigrants known as “dreamers” lose their temporary protection from deportation. The reason boils down to simple math: When President Trump announced on Sept. 5 that he would end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program on March 5, his administration gave DACA recipients with permits set to expire before then only one month to apply for a 2-year renewal.

On Monday, aroung  578 undocumented migrants were held in Turkey. In the province of Hatay, 62 Syrians were trying to illegally cross into Turkey. In Baskale district , police caught 34 Afghans who had the country illegally traveling in a van. Separately, in the northwestern province of Edirne, bordering Bulgaria and Greece, police helf 482 migrants of different nationality (were Palestinian, Pakistani, Afghan, Bangladeshi, Iraqi and Syrian nationals ) who were attempting to travel to Europe illegally.
