Death sentences for 8 terrorists accorded by the COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa

RAWALPINDI – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa confirmed death sentences awarded to another 8 hardcore terrorists involved in heinous offences related to terrorism, the military’s media wing Inter Services Public Relations said in a statement. These terrorists include those who planned and executed an attack on persons of Ismaili Community at Safoora Chowrangi Karachi, wherein 45 persons died on the spot and 6 others got injured. They also include those who killed a social worker Mst Sabeen Mehmood, kidnapped 2 Chinese Engineers and a civilian for ransom.

174 IS members killed by the Nineveh Operations Command

Nineveh Operations Command announced on Friday killing 174 members of the Islamic State, while trying to attack security forces in the province, as well as detonating their booby-trapped vehicles. “Federal Police troops continue searching and cleansing buildings and roads from explosive devices.” said the commander of the operation. “Terrorists tried to attack the villages of al-Arbaj and al-Azba, but our troops managed to kill 22 of them, in addition to detonating two booby-trapped vehicles” Yarallah added. In addition, Yarallah pointed out that the Islamic State’s terrorists launched an attack on the neighborhoods of al-Intisar and al-Salam using suicide bombers and car bombs, but their attack was foiled by security troops who also detonated three car.

Saudi Specialized Criminal Court sentenced to death 15 people

The Saudi Specialized Criminal Court on Tuesday sentenced to death 15 people convicted of spying for Iran; spy cell consisting of 32 terrorists, (30 Saudis, one Iranian and one Afghan. They are charged with forming a spy cell and communicating with the Iranian intelligence with the intention to harm the Kingdom’s security. Some accusations are: seeking to commit acts of sabotage against vital economic interests and facilities in the country, disturbing peace and public peace, attempting to damage the unity of the community, spreading chaos and sectarianism and carrying out acts hostile to the Kingdom. The most serious charges are high treason.

Rocket shell fired by terrorists killed a Russian military doctor and injured two others

The Russian Defense Ministry stated on Monday that a Russian military doctor was killed and two others were injured by rocket shell fired by terrorists on a Russian mobile hospital in al-Furqan neighborhood in Aleppo. He also announced that a Russian fighter crashed in the Mediterranean Sea due to a failed landing on the Admiral Kuznetsov aircraft carrier opposite the Syrian coast two days ago.

Army launched a major assault on Ganfouda terrorists in Benghazi

The army has this morning launched a major assault on the Ganfouda terrorists enclave in Benghazi. At least 20 tanks are reported to have been attacking from the west while LNA forces appear to be pressing forward all around the perimeter and naval vessels were bombarding from offshore. The assault, which began this morning in torrential rain, has seen an unknown number of casualties. Among the injured is the 298 Tank Brigade’s commander brigadier-general Naji Al-Moghrabi. The LNA says that it has destroyed the terrorists’ only tank and has captured at least six militants. It is claiming that they now control more than 90 percent of Ganfouda.

Over 40% of Eastern Aleppo has been freed from terrorists by Syrian government army

On Monday, Russian center of reconciliation of the warring parties in Syria, affirmed that more that 40% of Eastern Aleppo’s district have been liberated from terrorists by the Syrian governments army. According to the center, more that 80000 people live in the liberated district and more than 5000 civilians fled terrorists-controlled southern districts of Eastern Aleppo to find shelter in government-controlled district. Early in the day, the Russian reconciliation center said that Syrian government troops have regained control over 12 quarters in eastern Aleppo .

Houthi militias’ missions resemble suicide missions

Houthi militias and forces loyal to deposed president Ali Abdullah Saleh continue to push their members towards missions that resemble suicide missions. In the governorate of Hajjah, northwest of Yemen, the Midi-Hard front witnessed violent clashes during the past 24 hours and the militias suffered from serious human and materialistic losses. According to the media center of the fifth military zone, 22 militiamen were killed and 17 others were injured in the confrontations against the army and resistance forces which are supported by the Arab coalition in northeastern Midi. In Taiz, the militias failed to regain control of posts they lost in the past few days although Saleh resorted to elite and special forces.

Nigerian troops killed 30 Boko Haram insurgents

As the military offensive continues in the North-east, about 30 suspected members of Boko Haram were believed to have met their waterloo in the hands of Nigerian troops, when they attempted to ambush a convoy of local government officials and travellers along Bama road after Nguro-Soye in Borno State. Troops from 121 Task Force Battalion, Pulka were escorting local government officials from Pulka to Maiduguri, the Borno State capital, when the incident occurred on Saturday morning. The terrorists detonated an improvised explosive device and followed it with sporadic gunshots which were immediately repelled by the gallant troops.

4 IS-affiliated terrorists killed by IDF airstrikes

An Israeli airstrike killed four members of an Islamic State-affiliated terrorist group in southern Syria on Sunday morning, following a clash near the border. No Israeli soldiers were injured in the exchange. Soldiers from the Golani Brigade’s reconnaissance unit had crossed the security fence with Syria to conduct an “ambush operation,” while remaining inside Israeli territory, when they came under attack from small arms fire.
They returned fire, but soon came under attack from mortar shells. In response, the Israel Air Force targeted a truck “that had some sort of machine gun on top of it” and killed the four terrorists who were riding in it.

Two Boko Haram men suspected of procuring drugs for libido enhacement shot by troops

Nigerian troops fighting the terrorist Boko Haram group in the north-east state of Borno on Sunday intercepted two suspected members of the sect believed to be on a mission to procure drugs for libido enhancement, and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases and other illnesses. A military insider told the two men were intercepted by men of the 112 Task Force Battalion as they tried to cross from Anadawa village to Minari on motorcycle. The troops, who mounted a roadblock at Kasasewa village, trailed the suspected terrorists to Anadawa and quickly opened fire on them after realising they were fully armed.
