U.S. President Donald Trump on Friday invited Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas to the White House, in the first phone call between the two leaders since Trump took office. The White House said in a statement that the two discussed ways to advance peace throughout the Middle East, including a comprehensive agreement that would end the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.Palestinians are concerned over the more favorable approach by Washington toward Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu since Trump .Palestinian media underline the fact that the conversation between Trump and Abbas lasted some 20 minutes, and said Trump did not specifically discuss a two-state solution, the settlements, moving the U.S ambassy in Jerusalem. However, ahead of the call, Palestinian wanted a solution for the conflict. After the meeting between Donald Trump and the ambassador he says that: “I’m looking at two-state and one-state [solutions], and I like the one that both parties like… I can live with either one”, Trump said, causing consternation across the Arab world and in many European capitals.
